RibFest is all set to make a comeback this year!

It's been a long time coming, but barbeque enthusiasts may rejoice: London's annual RibFest will return to Victoria Park for the summer season of 2021, albeit with some alterations.

The 2021 London Ribfest is scheduled to take place in Victoria Park from July 29 to Aug. 2, 2021, just in time for the Civic Long Weekend.

Now that Ontario is on Stage 3 of reopening, we can expect that this comeback is in person but still with social distancing and updated COVID-19 guidance from the government to ensure safety of all the patrons and BBQ fans!

A ribfest (short for rib festival), also known as a rib cook-off, is a sort of food festival that takes place throughout the United States and Canada.

A rib festival often features a variety of food booths selling barbecue beef or pork ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, poultry, coleslaw, baked beans, and other similar items.

The vendors, called themselves as RIBBERS, frequently compete for first place in numerous categories, such as Best Ribs, Best Sauce, Best Pulled Pork, and People's Choice Award.
