Angelina Malik, MEd, CHA, CHIA, CRME, CHDM

I am fortunate to have had a chance to travel to multiple countries due to my industry work experience in Hospitality and Tourism Industry.  My professional leadership experience has been in Operations, Business Development and Digital Marketing.  

My most recent position in the hotel industry was Vice President of Palm Holdings – a Hotel Management company with properties both in Canada and the United States. I trained and led a diverse sales staff created partnership opportunities for the organization, and managed an extensive global client database. Before that, I held positions such as Director of Sales and Marketing and General Manager where I managed franchise relationships, business development and revenue management at Marriott, IHG and Choice Brands, in the United States and Canada.

My favourite part about teaching is connecting and getting to know the students from various backgrounds while engaging them to our industry professionals.

Being able to learn about other countries’ rich culture and “street food” by experiencing them as the locals, is my favourite part about travelling.
