Our Ideal Candidate:

If you’re the kind of person who never says no to a soiree, you’re speaking our language. We’re currently seeking an exuberant Catering Sales Manager to join the team at 1 Hotel Toronto. Our goals are set on a luxury events pro and a natural salesperson who brings it all to life for our guests at 1 Hotel Toronto. From developing creative ways to maximize profit and achieving set revenue goals, to supporting the financial, business and marketing objectives for meetings, parties and other gatherings at the hotel. In addition, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing existing business and soliciting new business as well as buyouts. Other important duties include selling, contracting, planning and servicing these amazing events. You're a natural at what you do - and you love it. About you...

  • Passionate about hospitality and food & beverage with a minimum of 3-5 years of similar work experience in catering sales.

  • Experience in selling and servicing social and business events.

  • Luxury and/or Lifestyle experience would be a plus.

  • An expert in Catering & Events, a strong leader, natural salesperson and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.

  • Excels at communication, both verbal and written.

  • Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays.

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
