Sanika P.

My name is Sanika Poredi, I currently teach the HTM102 course (Math in Hospitality). I have a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Science degree (BSc), Bachelor of Education degree (BEd) and a Master of Education (MEd) degree all from York University. I am a full-time math teacher at the PDSB and specialize in the International Baccalaureate program. I am excited to be a part of the SOHT faculty. As a young child I have been exposed to the hospitality industry because of my family and this feels like a life circle to teach in the faculty of hospitality and tourism.

In my spare time I like to dance, read, travel and binge watch tv shows! I do a North Indian classical dance form known as Kathak and am working towards my final exam at the Master’s level. Looking forward to collaborating and learning with everyone.
